    Default Fruits Basket

Come on!! You know you can't avoid it!

It was the best shoujo manga ever created by ma...ehem...woman....

The story revolves around a highschool student, Tohru Honda, who lost her mother, Kyoko Honda, to a car crash. She lives in a tent that soon gets destroyed by a landslide. The Sohma's invite her to live with them. (Yuki and Shigure.) (Then Kyo comes along later.) As she lives with them, she realizes when hugged by the opposite gender or when feeling intense emotions, they transform into a zodiac animal. She soons grows such a strong bond with the Sohma family that she seeks to break the curse burdened on them.

(Made the summary myself. I'm work so hard.)

i watched fruits basket (i know it seems like i watched everything)
i havent read the manga, but from what i heard the ending of the manga was explaining more,
i loved the op its a great anime, you're right.
Wings take the shape of people's feelings.
Even if one were to lose everything, it dosen't all disappear at once.
But that also means that, just like the light of a candle burning to the very end,
it only flickers for a brief moment in time.

I watched the anime a few years ago, and tackled the manga during this last summer. Wow, it really is a wonderful, and at the same time deceptively dreadful manga. Everyone, every single character no matter how sweet and innocent had his/her darkest secret stripped bare. The manga forced the ugliest thing from their pasts to be seen. I never suspected to find so much....depression in Fruits Basket. The covers always looked so happy, right? Anyways, this is an awesome, slightly heart-wrenching series that has made it onto my good manga list. If anyone out there reading this has not yet (somehow) come in contact with this series, I seriously recommend you give it a try. Yay Kyo^^
