Anyways...What did you guys think of the first seaon?
I'm watching the first episode of the new season at this very moment.
If you've also watched the new episode, what are your opinions on the new season?


This isn't really season 2, it's just an anime version of the manga.
(Which is really quite different from the anime..)
So I'm really looking forward to seeing how things turn out. (:

It's great so far. I love the OP and ED. It's quite addicting esp. the ED. I haven't read the manga. Is it good?

As for season 1, it's great. One of my favorites.

The manga involves a MUCH more complex plot line and a lot more military strategy. The "sloth" "pride" and "wrath" characters are all different, but they're still very impressive. There's also a different explanation for the homunculi in the manga, which i preferred in all honesty.
And we have Xing characters and Rendanshu in the manga! So fun! I won't spoil anything for those who haven't read it by explaining the afore mentioned, but it makes things much much more interesting.
So yeah. The manga and the anime are sort of incomparable on some levels, but both in their own rights are VERY interesting series.

It's alright, it was pretty fun, but not something to my likings - although, if season two would actually have a different plotine in contrast to making it more manga like in terms of the storyline, then I would have watched it.

[spoiler]I liked the first FMA alot I remember this moment after the first several episodes:
I was already thinking it will be more child like, less creepy thing, cause the darkest episode was with their flashback...
And right after i thought of that, came the episode where Tucker made his daughter a chimera, and Scar blew her insides on one wall. And i was like.
HOOOLYYY SHIIII*
If someone tell me that Animes are for Children i''ll tell him to watch this episode. I know there is much more creepy, violence and gore amimes, but THIS... it was simply sick. and then the episode with the wearing dress psychopath...

I liked the story. It had several momen'ts like this one. And i liked that Tucker lived! This crazy jerk must live and suffer!
Yet the ending. Even after the movie, seemed somehow unfinished. Atleast for me.

And I love Roy. I love the episode with the military in wich they were thinking that there is a ghost in the base. Real fun

The botherhood on the other hand, even though it follols the manga, it feels like it's missing the moments like this one with tucker. (Actually this praticular episode was changed in a bad, not so sick and depressing way)
I can't actually say much about it cause i didn't wached all the episodes. But it had more finished, even though more "Sunshine and roses" ending. And as a hole it looked more complete and if i am not wrong, those Homon-umomonublablabla-lus things were something different in brotherhood. Tha episode where Roy Kklled Lust - EPIIC!
But it felt to "Sunshine nd roses" for me. Yet it''s good to watch it. I might try that again sometime. Oh and Riza''s Tattoo is great!

Btw, i found one graet FMA fanfic in the net. One of the best fanfics i''ve ssen. I think it was called the wanderers. Idk who is the writter, but it''s woth reading...

i freaking love fullmetal alchemist- possibly the only two mangas and anime i have ever really loved are Fma and D. Gray-man.

Ed is probably one of my favourite characters in any story of have read.

and the fandom for FMA is so beautiful *_*
