i'm reading the manga right now (the new chapter is out) and i have watched the first season,
for everyone who doesnt know:
its a story about vampires, the anime begins with a little girl walking in a snowstorm and. she has no idea where she is or who she is. than a vampire attackts her in order to suck her blood, suddnely a boy kills the vampire and take her to a man namend cross(or kurosu, but thats the same i think), that man is the chairman of a school, buts thats no ordinary school, in that school there are vampires and humans.
(sorry i'm not good at explaining things, and sorry if i spelled something wrong, if you didnt understand just read the manga or watch the anime, its a good one for sure but i think the majority know vampire knight)
i'm suprised there isnt already a thread about that

I agree with you though and I think a lot of people are irked by it. It's really bothering me how they kind of left it... ._. I swear, I might stop reading it because it's disgusting. >_>

The first season was merveilleux! (It's french for wonderful. I just did my French homework, and it's one of the very few words I know, so please excuse me.)The second season was...mediocre. At first they were taking there time, in the second season I mean, but then they just started unraveling everything all at once! I expected a lot more out of it, ya know? And what the heck was up with the way Yuuki and Zero said goodbye?! I mean, come one!

My interpertation of their conversation...:

Zero: Well, I don't think you're a vampire but if you suck my blood, then I guess, yeah, I'll hate you.
Yuuki: Eh?! Well, okay then...(bites Zero)
Zero: Oh. Looks like you really are a vampire....so yeah, I hate you. Even though I'm a vampire too, which makes me kind of a hypocrit...but whatever.
Yuuki: Guess so...
Zero: Um, well I'm going to kill you. Not now...but I will. Maybe not today, but when you come back...I guess...I'll kill you even though I'm in love with you and all that jazz. So you know, have a nice trip with your brother and hurry on back so we can catch up, and I can kill you and what not.
Yuuki: I'll wait for that day...(Blushes. And no, I'm not lying, she actually blushes while saying those exact words...)
I mean, are you serious right now? I wasted all that time for that!
So, like I said, first season was amazing. Second season...I think I've already said enough. You would probably be surprised to discover that I was a Yuuki x Zero fan, and that is why that conversation ticked me off so much! She wasn't supposed to leave with her flippin' brother, and Zero was most definitely not supposed to tell her that he was going to kill her! I've never had all my hopes shattered in less than a minute before...but hey, I guess there is a first for everything, right?

Even though I was a big Zero x Yuuki fan, my main pairing was...(drumroll)
Aidou x Yuuki. Oh yeah, I went there. And I'd just like to point out that I liked them together from the first season...even when he was trying to kill her.
What can I say? I always, always have a thing for the weird pairings. :P

I was so disappointed at that part, too!!! I was waiting for something really epic, but they had to make it all weird and make fans anticipate for nothing.

I hate Kaname too...He and Yuki don't fit..and they're siblings...But I don't think that Zero and Yuki would be a better couple...I don't like Yuki so much..hhh cross the chairman of the school and Yukis friend are my fav character..hh

I love the anime... But I was really disappointed when Yuuki went with Kaname... i thought... WTF... they're siblings! Incest?! I would have liked Zero for Yuuki... but the manga is still ongoing so who knows, maybe they'll eventually end up together... :P

Also I've read the latest chapter and it has a Zero-Yuuki moment.... Kyaaaaaaaaaa~
