The Earl and the Noah's names.

So this has kind of been bugging me...
The Earl/ Duke/ Adam.
He has stated that his name is Adam, does this mean there will be an Eve?
And will she be good or evil?

That actually made me think.

Well, the obvious thing to say is the Heart is eve.
But what of that whole Eve was made from Adam's rib? Are they actually two parts of the same thing? Are they both as bad as each other? Can they unite to create a whole? (Urk, made me think of the appocrapper)

Then you could say, is there going to be a jesus?
Personally, I'm reserving this until a cliff hanger when Allen appears to be dead [Woot possible and unexplained/unexplainable revival. It's like a monopoly get out of jail card, It's just waiting until it's needed! *Just thought, God lurrrves Allen! Good enough reason to revive?]

Back to Eve. If the Heart is Eve then surely she's both good and evil? Good, because she's the er... head! Oh no, possible pun! - Heart!
ahem, Good because the Heart is the Heart of the innocence which is being used in the defense of humans. Evil because the Heart is allowing/promoting the evil things that happen in the order and might have a direct say in the actions of the appocrapper.

So maybe?

hmm... I just thought, how many exorcists are there? 17 originally... and 6 died during the search for the generals... so 11 exorcists?... plus Krory... plus timothy... plus miranda? (not sure about miranda... had she joined by then... oh yes, she had! I remember her crying outside the ark!) So my excitement for another Bible referance has been ruined by haveing ..... wait... 14 exorcists!!! NEAH IS EVERYWHEREE!!!!!!

What if Eve was the Earls lover, but Eve died/her soul was destoryed/God prevented the Earl from every seeing her again. THATS WHY THE EARL WANTS TO DESTROY THE WORLD!?!

Or maybe it was my first suggestion?

There are sooo many possibilities >.<
It was just a random idea that popped into my head, so I'm glad there's some consensus ^.^
Another theory is that maybe 'Eve' is in a rivalry with the Earl because of her wrong-doings (committing the first sin,) that he was also punished by God?
I really want to know who the Heart is!
[Personally I think it is someone from inside the Vatican, but this is only because the Cardinal was the appocrapper.]

Why would it have to be someone in the Vatican? The Heart's sure to have a supporter or two to spy for it.

Thats a good idea, bringing up the Original Sin.

But if the Earl is Adam, and the Heart is Eve, then who would be the snake?
The Snake is symbolic for the Devil, who tried to become greater than God.
The way I understand Christianity, Humans were given a chance to return to God though our actions because the Original Sin was merely a doubt of God/how far we could push the boundries - which isn't as bad as trying to kill God.
So whose even worse than a human?

Which makes me think of what Tyki said. Is Allen the snake?

(or the 14th, but why would Adam's brother do that? was the 14th jealous of the Earls compatobility with Eve? But the 14th faught for mana!?! EVE IS MANA!?!... then who'd be the Heart?)

Awww, but evil people are always the coolest! Rhode was evil, and Cross always had that dangerous look. Goody-too-shoes like Lenalee are a bit unlikeable.

Not to go off topic, but i've never really understood the Noah ability to change colour, or Rhode's ability to change form. Lulubell doesnt look so special after that. So if the snake is anybody, surely it's Lulubell or Rhode, sent by the Earl to bring the downfall of humans? Perhaps God's angels used innocence before, to defeat the Earl but the three days of darkness still occured because the humans could not undo the Original Sin?
I like our theory above better, but best to think of as many possibilities as we can and then narrow it down, only for the story to never tell us/wait three years to find out!

Either way, i think that Allen is only as old as his body, so it couldn't be that Allen is the snake. So was the 14th the snake, or the innocence inside of Allen? Was the 14th/innocence piece attempting to protect Eve (the Heart) from Adam (the Earl/Noah/Humans which was it at the time?).

OOOOO!!!!
Okay! Adam (Earl) loved Eve (the Heart) but the 14th believed that Eve (the Heart) didn't truely love Adam (the Earl) as the Heart was closer to God. So the 14th convinced Eve to eat the fruit (WHICH DOES WHAT?!) and Adam followed Eve in the act. They were (all) bannished from God and Eve blamed the 14th who the Earl defended.
Now the Heart wants to kill the Earl + 14th +Noah in order to be able to return to God. The Earl wants to destroy the world and regain Eve's love in order to be strong enough to kill God. But the 14th thinks that the Earl is an idiot for getting them bannished from God and so believes he is better than the Earl. The 14th, however became attached to his recarnated body's brother (mana) and shared his brother in on his quest. The 14th maybe wants to become the Earl in order to gain Eve's love and then to repledge themselves to God?

And so Allen is some random kid with innocence who had a Noah (14th) transfered into him. Now Neah wants to get out of Allen's subconsious; the Earl wants his brother back; the Heart wants to destroy his/her enemies (and possibily destroy the Earth?); the Order want some exorcists to destory the Earl and Lenalee wants a hug.

Orrrrr something like that?

And following the stimuli from the Bible... Akuma are.... well, to be honest, I haven't heard anything about the Bible explaining where Bulzeebub came from?

oooooo.... is the Earl Adam or Satan/Lucifer? And then is the 14th Bulzeebub?..... naaah, that theory is a bit too close minded... how would the others fit into it?

Just a thought to end this.
Christianity (which I believe DGM is based on) [although it could be Jewdaism/other?] has the trinity?
So there's God the father (God or Earl?)
God the Son (Allen or 14th?)
God the Holy Spirit (Heart or third side*?)
*think about it... the third side are there but never seen. You can only become aware of it's presence once you acknowledge it and become a believer in God.

What if Eve was the 14th? The Earl did say he wanted to be by the 14th's side didn't he? And he does seem to be awfully effected by the 14th... Or maybe Hevaleska? (I'm still not quite sure what she is, but she does remind me of that picture where Allen is holding a dragon looking creature for some reason. My brain must need sleep.)

So the 14th led to the downfall of all humans, by eating the fruit (which gave knowledge of good and evil... those weird powers they've got?)
But the 14th only poped up a while ago (newest Noah, isn't he? There's only meant to be 13, yet Neah's here?)... So since Neah wasn't originally around, I'd have to call him out of this.

I think I'm going to stick with the Heart being Eve because we know the least about the Heart, so it might be possible.

And I'd really like to know more about Hevaleska? She murdered all her family/species, didn't she? It was an order, or something?
And that dragon also reminded me of Hev, but I think it's just because of the eyes or perhaps the pen used to draw it. If it is a link, why'd it only be placed on the chapter page, and not in the story?
