Default Who do you want to die by the time D.Gray-Man ends?

Oh wow, this should be interesting...
Put whoever you want to die by the end of the series, and why~

The people I want to die:
Allen- I like sad endings, and it seems like it would be far too happy if he survives. It would also put a great close to the story if he died, since it would remove him from everything and keep this series from continuing- I hate it whenever they leave room for a sequel.
Kanda- Everything has gotten far too repetitive with the whole "I'm gonna die and then miraculously come back to life" thing. He'd probably be my favorite to die, even though he's one of my favorite characters. I don't exactly know why I'd like for him to die and not any of the other exorcists that I like- it just seems like the series would be better if Kanda died before it ended- not during the final battle (whenever that may be), but a bit before that.
Chaoji- I'm pretty sure that most people would agree with me on this one... But either he needs to go through a HUGE change in character, or he just needs to die a painful death. I've been tired of him since I saw that he survived the whole Akuma-attacking-the-ship incident, and his habits of being too quick to judge are getting on my nerves. I personally hope he dies the most painful death possible after putting in all of his effort to kill one of the weakest noah, and then dies knowing that he's to week to save anyone. It would also be interesting if the 14th killed him while he was in control of Allen, but... That would make me almost pity his death.
Tyki- After killing Allen, almost being killed by Allen, and fighting the Apocryphos, I'm getting tired of him always winning. He's actually one of my favorite characters and my second favorite noah only behind Neah, but it would be nice if he died at the end of the series. Maybe something hopeless and depressing, like he helped the exorcists only to die. I just don't want him to end up dying "evil"- if did something "good" just before he died, it would make his death have more of an emotional impact on people.
Fidder- Since I think that some of the Noah should die, I pick him along with Tyki for the ones that I'd want to see die by the end of D.Gray-Man. This guy just bugs me, and he doesn't seem important enough to keep after Lavi's past is revealed- unless there's some huge secret about him or his power. Otherwise, he's just another human with Noah powers that has nothing to do with the plot and is just someone for the exorcists to be fighting against.

Whew! That was a lot of typing XD. Soo.... Who do you want to die by the end of D.Gray-Man? It can be anyone for any reason, as long as you have one~ It can't just be something like "Lenalee- because she gets on my nerves with all of her crying". The more detailed, the better~

Also, cause of death might be interesting .-.

Me and my friend were actually talking about this a few weeks ago. I don't remember everything we said, but here's some of the stuff:
    Who We Want to Die:
Chaoji- We both hate him, end of story. The more painful the death, the better
Allen- For the same reason as you. We also thought it would make a great ending. We would actually prefer the manga to end with his death. I also love sad endings (especially bittersweet ones. For example, the exorcists winning and lots of happiness being there because of the victory, but a ton of them dying...in a sad, depressing way).
A bunch of CROW member people- I don't just don't like them for some reason. Hoping for bloody deaths
The guy that looks a bit like Hitler whose name I can't remember- Same thing as Chaoji~
Rhode- I feel like if she were to die (actually die, not just have her dream thing break or whatever it did earlier) it would be really emotional and dramatic. Not necessarily a sad death, but maybe a peaceful one (she has lived a long time, there is a possiblity that she wouldn't mind dying). I don't know, I guess it seems like her death would make the story... more interesting. Especially if Allen or Neah kills her.

This is something else we discussed:
Characters We Think Will Die, Even If We Don't Want Them To:
Tyki- Sadly, we both think Tyki will die (.....in a dramatic and interesting way). We're not sure exactly why, it's just a feeling we had. I guess it's because.....well..... I'm not sure. I guess I feel like because he's so strong, because he's nearly killed Allen, almost been killed by Allen, and survived Apocryphos, he has to die. It seems like the strongest people always die. It's hard for me to explain it. And if he does die, I'm hoping for something like what you said earlier, "Maybe something hopeless and depressing, like he helped the exorcists only to die. I just don't want him to end up dying "evil"- if did something "good" just before he died, it would make his death have more of an emotional impact on people."
Either Lenalee or Komui- Not both of them. Not neither of them. Me and my friend feel like one's going to die. It just feels like something that will happen. I think it would also be very sad so I actually want this to happen (me likes sad endingz). It would be interesting if one had to watch the other die.
Kanda- Again, it's just another feeling. He's survived so much so we also think he's one of the strongest characters and it's like what I said earlier: I feel like the strongest people always die.
Most/All of the Noah family- Just another feeling. Cuz they're like the main villains and all~ (extra note: I also feel like if we get anymore backstory for any of them, it will be when they DIE...)

    We also talked about this:
    Who We Think Won't Die:
Allen- Even though we want this to happen, it doesn't feel like it will because he's the main character... Nothing else to say.
Earl- I don't know if my friend agrees, but I don't think the Earl will die. Well actually, I'm not sure if I think he will live or die..... I guess I feel more like he's going to live, but the rest of the Noah and Akuma are killed and he ends up with no army and he will get all sad xD

We talked about more characters and more possibilities and more ways to die and more specific ways to die and blah, blah, blah, but...... I forgot what else we said about those things. xD
So yea, that's all I got to say, at least for now.
    Byez~

EDIT: Wow, that looks like a lot of writing... it doesn't feel like I wrote a lot....

Characters who I want to die:
Kanda: Honestly he's my least favorite character in D. Gray-man. I was very disappointed when he came back to life.

Allen: Im love him as a character, but I like sad endings.
    ~
Characters who I think will die:
Lavi or Bookman: Lavi's been gone who, what? seven chapters? I've lost count. Last time we saw him he was being tortured. Regardless I didn't think he would survive the series. He's a bookman who's starting to become attached to people. Not going to end well. I have a feeling he won't stay with the bookman clan until the end and they might try to kill/take his memories/do something bad to him for leaving. Bookman might die soon though. He might be all noble and die to save Lavi and then Lavi would become the bookman and be a different person and that'll be sad.

    Characters I think will live:
Linalee: She'll live but suffer from losing her comrades. I think the literal world will be saved, but what she thinks of as the world, the people she loves, will be gone.

People who I think will die:
Johnny- i think he might be the 'loved one' that Allen\14th will kill. or the apho-thing will kill him. Not the noah or akuma, though. I feel like it would be more... meaningful if one of the first two kill him.
Chaoji- I agree with you guys. Unless something happens that completely changes his personality, he is just some jerk of a exorcist that no one likes. Maybe the noah will kill him? Or Allen will try to help him, but he pushes him off 'cause he is that dumb. Or maybe a combination of the two!!
Allen- Yes, I like Allen a lot, but , if I was righting the story, would have him die in the end, with the order hating him. Its depressing, but it just seems to fit in my mind.
Bookman- I would also kill bookman nearish the end, and then have lavi disappear to be the official Bookman, title and all.

    People I think will live:
Head person that looks like hitler: It goes along with my 'this will end in a depressing way' view point. Why should he live? Hitler does need a dad, and he fits the description XP
Lenalee:I don't care if she cries at half the things that happen to her. Someone with a positive outlook of Allen has to live and I think she would be the best candidate for that!

anyway, that who I have for now. I'll add more if I think of anything.

Ah, not only painfully ^-^ I personally want his death to take up at least an entire episode (if the anime continued...), I'd want his death to be as slow and painful as possible while he mentally breaks down, and I'd want the one to kill him to be one of the weakest of the people he's trying to fight against, just to prove exactly how useless he is ^-^

I want either Tyki, Rhode, or the Earl to kill him why he laments about Anita <3 I will defiantly enjoy that!

Odds are he wont die though -.- or at least any time soon. I just dont think Hoshino would include a character with out meaning...Unless she just wants to vent some sadism when she does kill him (Something along the lines of when Tyki almost killed Allen((which admittedly, was one of my favorite chapters)) but more painful)

I agree... I think it would be more likely for him to change. That would have more of an impact on the story line, and would be kind of a shocker for the audience to go back and see how he was before he changed. XD Don't worry~! That was one of my favorite chapters too x.x

Even though I hate Choji, I hope he does have some use. It would be such a waist to introduce a character for no reason. The last new character I liked got wiped out once she had finished her purpose in the story, even though she could have been so much more...Instead she got a pointless (And ultimately HORRIBLE) Death...
