Cross Marian Dead or Alive

Hmmmm I dont actually read the Manga but sometimes I just cannot help myself when reading so yea I do not think he is dead not only was he gone when they came to check on him he left Timcanpy...I don't know why he left Judgment and his mask but there has to be some sort of reasoning behind this what do you all think?

I would think he is still alive, Cross was one of the coolest Generals out their. And they don't have even have a body. He's probably out their somewhere preparing for something. Or he is being held captive by the Earl.

Nah, I don't think Cross is dead so easily.. He probably escaped with someone's help.. (Though I have no idea who) Cause he knows too much... And it looks like it was people from the Vatican who wanted him dead, even though it seems like Lvellie knows nothing about this. It's probably a secret group of people working within the Vatican who doesn't want others to know about them, so they attempted to silence him.

It's hard to say whether he is dead or not. He left Tim with something that sounded like a last Will and Testament, according to Allen, anyway.

Just because he wasn't in the room when the second guard checked, doesn't mean that he was alive. Like Komui and the others discussed, the glass could've broke under his weight from his body leaning against it.

Also, the fact that the Innocence in the Judgement no longer responds to Cross might mean something. The second Innocence wasn't mentioned, so it's somewhat of a mystery. So he's either alive, or he's dead and his Innocence is still responding to him. Is it possible that the Heart is his second Innocence? It's not confirmed that either Allen or Lenalee has the heart.

Maybe he was assasinated? He knew a lot more than he should have, and since they were listening in on his and Allen's conversation... But, that doesn't make much sense that Cross was assasinated. If Cross were assasinated that easily, then the Black Order is definitely screwed. ._.;;

Or maybe did he did kill himself? There were gunshot holes in the window. He seemed to care more about Allen than he let on. Perhaps he thought of him as some sort of family? Was Allen his only disciple, though? Anywho, he seemed more emotional than the Cross we're all used to when he was explaining about the Fourteenth to Allen. Maybe he thought that there'd be no hope and that he'd have to do some nasty deed that he didn't want to do if worst came to worst and couldn't bear it? Though, that doesn't sound very Cross-ish. But Cross didn't seem very Cross-ish in that chapter anyhow... :/

Though, I'm not saying he's dead. It actually sounds like some sort of ruse he'd create so people wouldn't bother him any more. He never seemed fond of being an Exorcist.

Faking his own death and hiding out in some remote corner of the world so he wouldn't be found. Sounds very much like Cross to me. XDD;

Tim proves Cross is dead cause he can't locate him.

Hmm if a Noah was to kill Cross he would definitely resist but there were no signs of fight. Akuma, too. Allen would have noticed with his eye. Also Leveblabla convinced me that he didn't kill Cross.

Cross loves Allen and he would never fight or harm him (seriously..). The only thing left is Allen turned into the 14th and killed Cross. Also Cross knew his death was close when he hugged Allen and told him something like "..What would you do if I told you you'll have to kill someone you love when you become the 14th?"

BUT Tim was always with Allen recording him, wasn't he? So if Allen turned into the 14th he would have seen it. The Black Order could take Tim and check his memory, what was Allen doing when Cross died.(I don't remember if they already did..)

I personally think Cross is alive. He's a major character and too important to die. Maybe he's done a spell or something.. Or he's in Maria's innocence.

i'm sure he didnt died, he is cross, theres no way he can die, if so allen would have already killed him, not?^^
the cross i know is hiding somewhere, maybe he is there and watching over allen? =) but if something happens and they need cross he will come and save them yay^^

A guy like Cross will not die from a simple bullet shot. He's more likely to be in hiding with the help of the 14th Noah followers.

Aw come on, he's not going to die that easily! He's too smart for that!!!

I think he's faked his own death so he can go and help from the shadows where the Millennium Earl can't get him and where he can search for the heart without anyone a) getting in his way, b) picking up on where he's searching, c) the millennium earl finding an information leak (maybe allen? maybe someone else he cares for?) and thus finding the heart before he can get to it.

So, i don't think he's dead. Could be wrong, but I don't think so, and certainly hope not. Cross is so cool!!!
