haha, funny I wanted to create a thread for this as well, but then my internet broke down....
It's just that somehow... I'm frustrated.
I was really surprised that Kanda came back so fast.... or rather what surprised me the most was this 'three months later' thing. THREE DAMN MONTHS!
what happened to Lavi?! Just when I thought I would finally get some Lavi....I'm also worried about Road, she still might not have come back. and what has Allen done in these three months?
Well it was nice seeing Leverier, or how you spell him again, visiting Links grave. So Link is death now... he was seriously bad injured and all... but still, makes me really sad.
Back to my Lavi... I want to knooooooooow!
Also that parasite thing is still inside Chaoji, oh how I... don't like that guy! I don't want to say hate, it's against my policy, but this feeling is close to hatred I tell you! But with that parasite thing and Kanda coming back I guess we will see more of the Order than seeing anything from Lavi.
ARG! Can you tell I'm frustrated?! Is this how my summer vacation is going to end ?! Leaving me worried to death about Lavi *Exaggerating*

I was surprised he's back so soon, too. But a few interesting developments and mysteries:

1) Link is dead, and the Order thinks Allen did it. And Johnny was behaving funny, like he was going to go to Allen. Makes me wonder if he knows where Allen is, just cares enough to find him, etc. But for a minute there, I thought maybe Apocy posed as Johnny.

2) Road isn't dead. But I have to wonder a couple things here. Like what does her dream being broken mean? Perhaps she isn't entirely on the same page as the other Noah. Maybe she loved Neah, maybe she cares for Allen, I'm not sure. But she didn't seem as evil as she used to before she "disappeared".

3) Bookman didn't talk. This is interesting because he always said to stay out of things and they were just historians, but yet when it came down to it, neither he nor Lavi spilled any beans. Good for them!

4) Yeah, the three months thing was weird... I wonder what Allen has been doing. I thought we'd see him at that place from chapter 206.

Ugh, now I have to wait another month! haha

As always it raises more questions than it answers but that's what keeps me hooked.

I kinda gathered Road wasn't dead, like Tyki said their inner Noah would have known.
When I finished chapter 206 I suspected that the Road that faded away was a dream since it was stated in previous chapters that she makes dream versions of herself and sends those out.
Like the one in the Ark.

I'm surprised Bookman and Lavi haven't talked and even more that they don't seem to have had any "huge" damage done to them.
Yes, Lavi still has the parasites but for saying three months have passed they look relatively fine.
But Bookman did tell Sheryl that he should already know what relationship Road had with the 14th.
Does that mean she was in love with Neah (which would make Tyki, her adoptive uncle, looking like Neah be a bit weird)?

Johnny is behaving funny but I don't think that it's Apocrapper posing for him. It is rather strange though, where is he going to go?
Just run all across the world in the hope of finding Allen?

As for Link...
I may be way off track here but it just popped up in my head.
What if Link isn't dead and his funeral/grave is just a facade to cover up Leverier's plan to use Link to get to the 14th?
We didn't see what happened in that cell after Leverier asked Zhu to heal Link and told him it's because Link somehow is the/a key to get to Neah.
But then again, he may just have died because of Apocrapper.
That's a shame, I was really starting to like him.

On the other hand, I'm starting to dislike Chaozii more and more.
He dives in way too fast judging people for my taste.
Perhaps I'm wrong but I don't think he knows anything about Allen or what happened yet he seems dead set on making him an enemy based on an incomplete judgement.
He doesn't wonder whether there might be more to something than you would think from a first glance.
Kinda like an iceberg.
"Oh, I only see the tip so that must be all there is to it."

here are my thoughts about chapter 207:

KANDA'S RETURN -- no one is surprised there. we all knew hoshino was bringing him back. like the rest of you, i wasn't expecting him to come back so soon but i wasn't expecting a 3 month time-skip either. i am guessing that hoshino didn't want to just show all the stuff allen learned from mother but rather, will show in bits and pieces later on as allen interacts with the noah and the order again. that is a more interesting way to hand out information in a story, i suppose. but i was really hoping that she'd show cross marian back at mother's as well.

LINK -- i, too, have my doubts about link being dead. since link actually saw the apocrypha and interacted with him, he is now a threat to whatever secrets louverrier and central are wanting to keep. i wouldn't be surprised if they faked his death so that link could be debriefed and still be able to help allen later. when i saw louverrier standing at link's "grave" it seemed to me he was making sure that things were going according to plan rather than him standing and grieving over link. maybe i'm too cynical but that's just the feeling i got. my theory with hoshino is, unless you actually see a corpse (daisya) or someone being shown as being killed (suman and skin bolic), that character is prolly still alive (kanda, marian cross, rhode).

JOHNNY -- no one can doubt johnny's loyalty and feelings of obligation toward allen; they had been growing for quite a while. and, like marie said, the science division knows a lot of secrets (maybe even where the gate last opened -- perhaps it gives off a weird signal or trace amounts of something that johnny may have tracked -- or he somehow found out that mother is a supporter of the order and that allen had been there before with the general?). i have no real idea how johnny would know where to start looking for allen - BUT AT LEAST HE'S TRYING, DAMMIT...

LENALEE -- ...which is more than i can say about lenalee who is just more and more becoming a bump on the road. it is my hope that characters get stronger and stronger as they experience hardships and interacted more with their comrades. it's what characters do -- they GROW (hopefully). but lenalee is getting weaker and weaker. i thought she would be a different sort of heroine in a shounen manga; a female that could hold her own both physically and emotionally. i guess i'm just disappointed that hoshino is having lenalee be less than resolute about where her loyalties lie and that makes me sad. but i suppose that makes her somewhat human? i don't know. it seems pretty clear-cut to me who's side she should be on given all the crap she's seen, especially from the order, but then again, her brother is in the order as are her other friends. *shrug* girl couldn't even break out of her stupor to even give kanda a hug or something after so long. and this is why i write fanfiction because she so often disappoints me in canon.

CHAOJI -- i've said this before and i'll say it again: HE CAN SUCK IT. i've never liked this character from the beginning and i really wish he would have gone down with anita and the ship. if he's not smart enough to wonder why everyone still cares about allen and, instead, just feels like he can do his own thing and try to fight him, he has another thing coming. who does he think he is? i hope he gets a big dose of STFU later on. actually, i hope it's kanda who shows him what's what and puts chaoji in his place regarding allen. wouldn't that be nice and ironic? :-)

and now to wait until oct 4th for the next installment...(i'll believe it when i see it).

Chaoji : STFU really. and id say stay a side character, but for some reasons I think he has something that we will know soon.

I'd like to see allen in the next ch.

But its probably only because the last chapter was 2 months ago...
oh well, on to my thoughts!

Link being dead: PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE LET THIS BE TRUE!!!! I was so happy when I saw his grave! :'D Then you all started talking about how it could be a trick... that makes me sad.... (as you can see, I don't really like Link)

Kanda coming back: I was happy :D At first, on like the 5th page or something, they said that he was dead. I just assumed that the Order was correct in this, even though I had my doubts, so when he came at the end of the chapter I was like, "Yay! Kanda is alive! I knew it! :D "

Road: Yay! ROAD IS ALIVE! I knew she couldn't be dead! :D :D :D

Chaoji: Stfu. Nobody likes you Chaoji. Go die like Link. By the way... you got bugs in you! Hahahahaha, because of you, the Noah are learning all of the Order's secrets! *starts day-dreaming about Chaoji getting stabbed....multiple times....by me* (I like him even less than Link -_- )

Lets see... what next.... oh! Bookman and Lavi: I'm very surprised that Bookman didn't say anything. And that Lavi is still alive.... I wonder if they're gonna escape or if Allen is gonna rescue them or somethin...

Johnny: I don't care about him. Let him do what he wants.

Lenalee: Jeez, stop complaining and worrying so much about something you can't change. If you care about Allen so dang much, then go and try to find him like Johnny!

I guess that's all I really want to say...
WAIT! I just remembered:

Tyki! and other Noah: My goodness!~Sheril is over-reacting! As Tyki said, if Road had died, their Noah memory would have felt it. And Tyki is alright! :D I was kinda worried that Apocryphos might have seriously, seriously injured him ;P

k link is not dead, cuz i mean you cant make a char important (or say he is) and just kill him off without him doing something heroic; you just cant. and what if after a while and stuff chaoji becomes a "bad guy?" like what if the bug in him gets removed and stuff and he becomes more influential and becomes a real threat? not someone minor? about lenalee... dont you think she's becomin stronger? why would you think she became weaker?? o.O before she was just like a little shell with a personality, she kept everything bottled up and tried pretending to be alright but now she had a break down of personalities and is rebuilding herself up all over again, she might become a char that is really strong! (after she gets over this crying stage :P) that's just the way humans work...they tear themselves down and rebuild themselves up again, into someting bigger and better... or just stay dead and erode away. i just hope someting big will happen to lenalee so she can strengthen her resolve and actually be someone useful -_-. AHH whatev. my opinions im sorry if its stupid...cuz i am a stupid person T.T Im very very sorry for writing this...and being all depressing and such, i hope i didnt ruin your day with my mood (mr. fluffles died T.T; my bunny so bad mood) well, have a very nice day~~~ and be happy~ dont worry~(lol!)

It doesn't seem like Chaoji is going to become a more influential character (well, at least in MY opinion). I doesn't really look like anybody gives a crap about him. I'm not saying that it's impossible for him to become powerful and influential, it's just that, in my opinion, it doesn't seem likely.

I've had a strong dislike towards Lenalee ever since that ship sunk on their way to Japan (she became very weak and annoying at that point, I don't like weak and annoying characters :P ). But... I'm actually started to like Lenalee more. I wasn't really sure why, but now I kinda think its because of what you just said. She seems to be getting stronger, in my opinion (or at least crying less xD ).
