i am still trying to decide between whether i'm frustrated with this chapter or amused because i keep going back and forth...

SPOILERS AHEAD

as a 'shipper, i am unhappy that the words that lenalee should be saying are actually coming out of johnny's mouth. every chapter i wait for her to say something redeeming but, no, still the same stuff every time.

and then hoshino decides to toy with everyone by giving a komui/bak simultaneous head-exploding moment but it's because of kanda's actions toward lenalee, not allen or lavi. i must admit, that part was extremely amusing. i actually chuckled out loud looking at their expressions. as for kanda, now that he is free as he has self-proclaimed and obviously he is sincere and earnest about his choice to be an exorcist since his innocence crystallized for him, maybe he is also free to pursue other things....like being interested in women. he has come to terms with his past and is moving on, thankfully.

i just loved kanda's expression while he was drinking out of lenalee's hand, he knew exactly what he was doing and how komui and bak would react (his snide expression is obvious) and he enjoyed making them freak out, including lenalee lol. kanda's an ass, but this is why i <3 him. calling lenalee all ugly and bloated (and her resulting reaction) was also hilarious. he knew she must have cried a lot when allen left and was just pointing that out in his own kanda way.

in the end, i still foresee the fabulous four - allen, lavi, kanda, lenalee -- fighting alongside each other against their true foe

kanda-lena lovey dovey (dunno how to react. kanda know something like that. is he a romantic? O//.//O)

kanda privately says to lenalee on the side "don't get mad" as a little warning so i think he knew exactly what he was doing when he drank his innocence from her hand. look at the way he's glancing to the side at komui and bak.....he wanted to make them react like that. i think maybe kanda is growing a sense of humor, even if it's a little twisted lol.

kanda is a bit different than before, that's for sure. he really has come to terms with things in the last three months, it seems like. and now he says he truly is free. maybe....just maybe....some part of that also means he's free from clinging onto the past and that mysterious woman who's been haunting him all this time. maybe that will allow him to act like a normal guy when it comes to women around him and so he'll feel a little more open about doing anything remotely suggestive with lenalee whereas, before, he held her at arms-length. even though i am wholly against anything kandaxlenalee related (seems incestuous), i admit it would create a whole new way of interacting with kanda. interesting. if anything, i am sure kanda will resort to doing this sort of thing JUST to make bak and komui flip their lid. i think it amuses kanda and, before, the words "amuse" and "kanda" might never have been uttered in the same sentence.

Hah, I got confused and commented on the previous thread before noticing this one, but oh well I deleted the reply I sent. Messing up is my favourite hobby.

So was the person on the alley actually Allen or not? He sure looked like Kanda to me but that doesn't make any sense, does it? Reever did say that Kanda "went off somewhere" though. I sure hope that doesn't mean that he'll disappear for the next couple of chapters. Didn't really pay attention to the Lenalee-Kanda drama, since it didn't seem too significant to me, I think Hoshino's just playing with her fans a little. I'm not too interested in D.Gray-man couples anyways.

Won't be writing some kind of a long analysis of the chapter since I read it about 10 min ago but the second last page (don't know if that's proper english) left me wondering.

Yay for a chapter of D. Gray-Man!
I love Komui's and Bak's reaction to what Kanda did.
Also love how Kanda called Lenalee ugly. That was pretty dang funny.
It looks like Kanda is getting a sense of humor~
I'm so happy that Allen showed up, even if only for a page. I was wondering what was happening to him.
Overall, I like this chapter, even though I didn't write much.
I don't really have any predictions for the next chapter.

but you;ve got to wonder... why is allen in the alley? what happen at mother's place, and most importantly WHY ISN'T HIS HAIR LONG?? T.T.... but the little girl was cute "are you a angel?" aww, how did the apocrapper find out where he is? maybe Baba(? dunno his name) accidentally let the fact allen was there slip? but then maybe allen did only to Mother's place for info and left right away? and why is his arm still messed up

I'm LOVED Kanda calling Lenalee ugly and her reaction; it made my day. Lenalee needs to step up soon, though. I like my female characters stronger than that. Kanda's humor is EPIC and I really hope we get some info on Allen in the next chapter

I think the frilly things sticking out of his arm are some kind of parasitic tracking device from Apocrapper. I'm not sure why Allen's still got it since Tyki got pierced by Apocrapper as well and his seem to have gone.
Although Allen may have gotten a different treatment, seeing as Apo wanted to merge with him and all and make sure he couldn't get away for long.

It's good to see Kanda is back and I quite like his change in personality. Still smug but in a more lighthearted way.

As for Allen, I think he may have run from Mother's place and is keeping on the move as to not lead the Apocrapper to her or himself.
He didn't look too hot, I guess it's taking it's toll on him.

I like this chapter but I think it's more of an inbetween one with little bobs of info.
Hopefully the next one explains a bit more of the puzzle

Nice Chapter, I really liked Yuu's comeback! Looks like he gave the higher ups from the Order a piece of his mind too. It didn't look like Rouvelier would try to do something, is he starting to lose his authority? I really hope that Yuu still has a bit of baddass-ness he used to have. Also, really cool that his innocence became a crystal type. I hope he'll be able to do some nice illusions and other sword techniques (as if he wasn't that strong already). I loved the expressions of the guys at the Asia branch when Yuu drank his innocence using Lenalee's hand.

Speaking of Lenalee, since when did her hair color became lighter? Wasn't it always drawn black? I can't help but wonder if we'll get to know more about that dream of "two worlds", since it might have alot of importance in the events to come. I'm still hoping for her to get stronger next time.

Allen~! Too bad he got only one page. I think we'll get to know what happened to him during 3 months in the next chapter. I'd like it if he got some new power, or maybe even noah powers. But tapping into Neah's strength might not be so easy. Something that would help against the apocryphos would be nice. Speaking of Noah, how is their relation with Allen, has it changed? Are they trying to hunt on him aswell? Will Road take a different appearance when coming back in the story?
