A lot of times, the manga artists don't go into great detail in every panel/picture they draw so that they can finish faster. Another example of when Allen was missing his pentacle/curse is in chapter 11 page 2 In that picture, you should have at least seen some of the star/pentacle thingy above his eye.

i can understand small details being left out sometimes, but NOT trademark or distinguishing marks. leaving out allen's character-defining mark in order to finish the manga more quickly is kind of a cop-out. better to leave out a background drawing in order to save time rather than leave out something THAT important.

also, in the example of chapter 11, page 2, his hair is covering almost the entirety of his left side of the face and that side is also facing away from the reader. but in this chapter, the left side of the face is totally in full view and even if she left out the pentacle, we should have seen the lines that extend down his eye and down his cheek. so yeah, nuh-huh, not buying it that it's allen yet.

yup yup. if it does turn out to be allen, i'm gonna be disappointed that she didn't bother to draw her main character fully. >.< that's gonna be like almost the entire kanda/alma arc when everyone looked alike and the colorists went crazy lol.

What if it was done on purpose though? Allen missing his trademark, I mean, it could add to the suspense. I honestly think it may actually be Allen, but in his Noah form, since he's obviously still fighting it. Besides if it was Aprco or what's his face, then wouldn't he have attacked the little girl? I mean, yes it seems cruel but he may have to keep the girl silent and from telling her parents or spreading it. What the person did seems like something Allen would do. And it you can see in that panel that the entire left arm is those feathery things. And, it can't really be the Aprco dude because the locations are completely different. It appears that he is in a train station, while the person is in an ally, more than likely in the city. And when he went to his 'mamas' house, he probably couldn't stay long, since the guy is out to get him. And that was an extra chapter, so maybe that's like, a foresight of what's to come? It could mean many things..

ON THE SIDE NOTE-
Okay, nothing, NOTHING has ever made me laugh as hard as when Kanda called Lenalee ugly. That realllllyyyy got me laughing. I mean sure, he has a sick sense of humor anyways, but that just made me lose it. He's changed a lot in the passing time, which is good. It seems that he has a lighter outlook now? Or something like that. When he drank from Lenalee's hands though, it was more of a 'He did WHAT?!' moment for me, but the look on his face was rather priceless. He knew that it'd get reactions, so I'm sure he just wanted to mess with people's head, because he's cruel like that. But, I got to admit, his new Mugen is like, epic, there is nothing left to say about it. I was actually like, amazed he let himself, I kind of expected him to leave the Order and go off to track down Allen, but then again, he could be planning something. Who knows, we'll just have to wait and see.

I would hope Hoshino would not resort to poor illustrations to create suspense...

I don't think it's Kanda because the hair isn't correct, but I'm not completely convinced it's Allen but it makes the most sense for it to be Allen especially given the feathers seem to be coming from part of his arm. For some reason I found it such a minor part I had to reread the whole chapter to figure out which scene. Hopefully we will find out in the next chapter.

nope, we don't find out because hoshino decided to make it all about johnny AND make it a paltry 15-pager. sometimes i wish the woman would just hand this over to someone else if she's going to be this unproductive.

I enjoyed this Chapter quite a lot I missed Kanda so much ;__; i thought he was dead for good...(i stopped reading for a while and then caught up to the current chapter) anyways i was very amused with the facial expression of Bak and Komui XD Kanda is really growing a sense of humor XD

i just finished reading the manga
it was good and i liked how kanda made that evil face of his about the thought of those guys being dead
but im really sad that it was like about johny {the stupid one who thinks he can find allen on his own and not get killed} and not about allen

I'm dissapointed that the new chapter is so short, but think of it like this:

-Mangaka have deadlines, which can pretty much influence chapter content
-Some mangaka work on multiple projects
-Maybe Hoshino's health worsened
