Mangareader Change of Chapter 205 Trnslation
maybe the translator got a lot of flack for screwing up the translation of Chapter 205 with the whole, "I love…you, and everyone else at the Order" because I just went back to read it and it has now changed to the more literal, "I love...the Order that Lenalee and everyone are in."
It's a more accurate wording than the one the translator had previously written, which he admitted to changing the sentence structure a bit in order to make it more dramatic. when i read his original translation, i was pretty upset because i knew that's not what hoshino had meant to write. i hate it when translators try to add in their own flair, even if it promotes my own biased feelings about something. it's just not right to do that to the readers.
so, maybe he got a lot of heat for it since those last pages were very dramatic anyway and fueled a lot of fan fervor due to the implied allenxlenalee moment. i, for one, am glad it was changed to something more accurate. even though it doesn't exactly capture it, it's still closer than what was originally translated.

"I'm sure of this much....if I was in your place, Allen...I would do the same thing. Let's go home together...with everyone..." ~Lenalee (Chapter 123)

can you tell us its original statement (in Japanese)?
"Having a light side... and a dark side... is what makes life interesting."
