Yu Kanda vs Lenalee Lee

This could be interesting.

Lenalee's speed is definitively an advantage, but Kanda isn't exactly slow. Kanda also has more attack options, because of his Illusions, but I don't know if Lenalee has some kind of "hidden" powers. I mean, we've only seen her use her new boots once.

Oh, and don't think of Kanda as "caring" though he's fighting a girl. If Lenalee had been an enemy, he wouldn't have shown her any mercy, so think of her that way.

I'd say Kanda. He's nothing if not heartless towards the people he has to fight. So if Lenalee somehow became someone that he has to fight to the death, he wouldn't hesitate to hurt her. While Lenalee will be thinking, "This is my friend! I can't hurt him!" and she'd let Kanda win so that she doesn't have to hurt him. After all, her friends are a part of her world. If one of them dies, her world will be missing a piece. So I believe she'd rather not lose her world.

If they were both serious about beating each other, I think Lenalee would win. She's so fast that even he can't see her, so his chances of hitting her are slim.

Now if this is a hottness contest, Lenalee would win for sure. XD

That depends if the one who judges is a boy or girl xD for me, Kanda is the hottest. Lenalee is just pretty

But anyway, since this wasn't a hottness contest;
Sure; Lenalee is fast, but we have yet to see Kanda's 3 remaining illusions. And now that I think about, Lenalee's speed gives her an advantage, but because of Kanda's lotus, he will probably last much longer than anyone else (in addition to the fact that he's an excellent exorcist) and if he can keep regenerating himself, Lenalee will loose stamina, which is most probably Kanda's strongest point.

Lenalee is indeed fast. From what we saw during the level 4, it's told that Kanda's not able to see when Lenalee fleed from Level 4's attack. But then, somehow, I can see that Kanda would pretty much being able to expect Lenalee's attack. Even if Kanda's eye is not able to catch up with Lenalee's speed, he has chance to be able blocking Lenalee's attack.

At least, Lenalee would stand no chance as soon as Kanda 'catch' her just like when Allen & Kanda vs possesed Link.

Really hard to judge this vs ~o~

I'd have to say Lenalee due to her speed. I don't think Kanda has that much intuition to keep up with such great speed. Anyways, maybe Lenalee has some unknown hidden power too...

I agree completely with you on that. Yes, Lenalee's extremely fast, but speed only is what gives her that edge. If Kanda managed to catch her (which is slim in itself), she would not be able to attack as strongly as she could (because she needs speed in order to land hard hits, I assume). Kanda's still fast, just not super, but he can strike close in range with his sword, as well as summon his illusions (for long range). He's got more diversity that way. And that lotus too, that gives him more endurance than Lenalee. Heck, I think it gives him more endurance than anyone else, as long as he doesn't overuse it. He's basically the only character that can heal while still on the battlefield.

Man, that is a tough choice though. But, I think Kanda would win, in a close match.

And now that I think about it. Kanda is an expert on fighting things he can't see (due to his blindfolded training). That's why, though he can't see Lenalee in the beginning, he's very much used to fighting opponents he can't see. He would probably be able to anticipate Lenalee's attacks after a short while.

You make quite a good point there, but as we know Lenalee has a lot more intelligence than Kanda. So she may be more skillful in tactics...

These are the kinds of questions I want to ask Hoshino-sensei. It'd be cool to hear from her who'd win in fights.

Anyhow, this one is way too close for me to judge. I think it could very well end up in a tie. With Lenalee's upgraded Innocence, I'm going to assume that she'll have more endurance, simply because she doesn't need to make an effort to actually control it anymore. We already know that Kanda has above average endurance, though if Lenalee forces him into Sangenshiki mode, his recovery will be slowed and give her an opportunity to pull ahead. Lenalee definitely has the upper hand in speed, but I think Kanda's got an advantage in intuition. Lenalee may be smarter than Kanda in a general sense, but when it comes to strategy in battle I think they're pretty evenly matched.

Granted, there are still a lot of unknowns as to what these two can do. As was mentioned previously, we still have yet to see the last three of Mugen's illusions, and we know next to nothing about the potential of Lenalee's upgraded boots. But until we know more for sure, I think the fight would end in a tie.
