    Default Hallo

    Hello everyone

I didn't post here originally because I don't usually do that when I join a site right off the bat. But I figure I'll say my salutations and maybe even list a few things that you won't find on my profile:

As shown, you can call me Dazzikins (it's a rather long story, but I'm quite attached to the name) and I have to say that I started watching DGM in 2007, but was interrupted when I couldn't get the rest of the episodes. Yes, I watched the anime first, but that was only because I honestly didn't know that it was a manga and I didn't have the ability to obtain the manga anyways. I'm currently reading the series to see how the anime differs from the manga, since I believe that the anime was well put together. I too cannot wait till they can produce more anime so we can see the story in action.

I'd have to say that Lavi is my original favorite because of his personality; it wasn't till the end of the series that I appreciated him that much more after finding out what he truly was, but that doesn't stop me from liking him that much at all. Still...Allen is catching up as I dive further into the story. xD

Though I've been watching anime and reading manga for a while, I'm a late budder on this, so please bear with me as I'm still dipping my fingers into the many genres that the two have to offer.

My favorite snack during anime/manga time is cheese and grapes with cappuccino and sometimes cheesecake with milk.

I do not mind the occasional chat, as I like to make friends and I'm happy to be here.

(there, I cut it short so you don't have to read that much)

    hiya dazzi!

    welcome to the site! ^_^

so you started with the anime, eh?

i personally like the manga 238743849520984230967284 bazillion times better! >:3

so if you don't love it, you're insane. x3

we'll just have to see where you stand once you catch up with the story (it's getting reeeeeally good lately). :3

I'm sure I'll love the manga xD

It's just that I never knew it was a book before it was a show; so now I have to catch up. But I've done that with a lot of my animes since I'm still "n00bish" to the idea.

My favorite anime of all time (and will always be) is Magic Knights Rayearth by CLAMP. But I watched the anime first because I never knew manga existed when I began to watch it. Actually, MKR was my first anime, so that's why I love it so much. It opened to the door (eventually) to the anime I'm watching now (Naruto: Shippuden, FMA: Brotherhood, Inuyasha, Gundam Wing, etc)

But more recently, I watched Vampire Knights before reading the anime, but that was when I lived in Italy and I didn't have enough storage to put manga books, so I watched the anime first. But I read the manga online and loved it. Oh wait, I forgot...I read Honey and Clover and I bought the DVD box set like three months ago but I still liked both together. I'm the tye of person that prefers a book, but I like to see it in action if I can.

    lived in italy? wow, jealous.

the only thing i've ever seen by CLAMP was xxxHolic.

i read a couple volumes of the manga and watched a couple episodes of the anime. t'was pretty darn cool. :3

and i could've sworn there was something else by CLAMP. . . i forget.

but anyway, i love how distinctive their art style is without being messed up (like one piece. . . )

Thank you all again for the welcomes

Yes, I lived in Italy from 2006 till last year October and traveled around Europe during that period. But I should let you knot that I'm also in the Navy, and that has a lot to deal with how I got around Europe. At the same time, that is also why I hardly have time to actually sit down and read manga or watch anime.

I've been on vacation for the past few weeks, but I go back to work tomorrow and so my schedule will be full again. But hopefully I'll be able to keep up with my anime and manga when I'm not working or getting sleep. xD

As for CLAMP, I've seen MKR (as stated already), only two episodes of xxxHolic, so I really need to dive into that one day. Uhm... Card Captor Sakura (I totally love that anime), Chobits, Clover and X. I tried to watch Tsubasa Chronicles, but I couldn't get into that as much....the anime nor the manga. But maybe it was because I had started watching Inuyasha, Zoids and Gundam Wing and I was finding myself more attracted towards mecha anime/manga XD Dunno...I plan on re-visiting that one someday.

I didn't want to get into the Naruto fad honestly and that was only because I found out that it was being produced by the same people that does DB and DBZ series. There's nothing wrong with them because I love DB and DBZ, but I was getting tired of seeing Super Saian 9000 and the episodes that showed one attack per episode, then you had to go back to a past thought, then it took 5 episodes to complete one bad guy. I know Naruto is doing the same thing right now...but somehow, it's like they learned what their mistake was with DB and took it out of Naruto...so in this sense, I don't mind waiting 5 episodes to see the completion of the story. XD

Anyways...I can't wait to catch up to DGM and see what I've been missing 8D

    O.O

ouch. . . no manga time, eh?

i've been reluctant to get into naruto as well. read about three volumes and realized that's how long it takes to beat one bad guy, so i dropped it pretty fast. x3

but it has such a huge fanbase, they have to be doing something right. . . . right?

hahaha. i remember watching chobits for the first time.

it was one of the first anime i watched, and i thought it was the weirdest thing ever. x3

then i started learning more about japan. . .

hahahaha. there's a reason why it's called "weird japan"
