I have an interesting one:

what if the Heart reacts to the will of innocence?
It could explain why it's awaken, for example, Allen's innocence transforming, Lenalee's protection from her innocence, any trying get more power and then the evolving innocences. What if the Heart reacts to each exorcist by their will and the will of the innocence helping them? It would explain why the sudden reaction of the innocence protecting the exorcist and evolving seemed so not ordinary. It probably doesn't have a conformer which is how it can do these things for exorcists.

But one other theory I have that might be more interesting is, what if it's hard to find because it's not on Earth to begin with? What if it's waiting for someone? Or if it's waiting for the right time to appear? Is it possible God has it and it will give to the destroyer of time?

I'm just throwing thoughts out there....i don't have enough evidence to support my first theory.

What if the Heart's Tim?

Think about it. We all know that Tim isn't your everyday Golem. Besides which, he was-supposedly- connected to the 14th. Since the 14th betrayed the Earl, and the Earl's current goal is to destroy the Heart and therefore all Innocence, it makes sense that the 14th would hide the Heart in the least likely place.
And Timcanpy certainly has his quirks. He's his own character, for one, and he can do crazy things, like dodge thousands of level 2 akuma and smoke cigarettes. That is not natural. Timcanpy's undoubtedly the most badass golem ever, but is a golem and therefore isn't suspected by anyone. Could he be the Heart?

I was thinking that too because when allen almost died he told tim to take suman's innocence and tim swallowed it, so maybe he could the 14th could have made him swallow the heart like how he did with suman's innocence and he could still have it.

Hmmm hmmm hmm. I don't quite see much plot support for the timcampy theory. I mean anything is possible iguess.
But if we're going to throw out wild theories here, why not consider the notion that maybe the Heart is God himself. What an interesting twist that would make.Hmmm hmm hmm.
If you think about it for a few it could really make sense. Imean what would it really take for this war to end? What really controls the innocence ? Just a little fodder for thought.

The theorie with Tim is good..but I still think it's Allen's innocence...
I mean.. his sword is the exactly opposite of the Earls... and it exorcises the evil.. like god.. or sth...
And I am sure that when the Earl and the Noah die, that innocence will die too, so the heart will die first.. who else might it be than Allen... we all know that his fate is to win against the Earl and then die with him... his sword, his sword.. light and dark, good and bad, innocence and dark matter, Allens sword and the Earls, Allen and the Earl... jing jang

Oh and Hevlaska called him the destroyer of time.. how else could he destroy time then win the stupid war... no more evil and no more good... oh shit, that doesn't sound good ...

These are all interesting...

But I don't think anyone has the Heart...I mean all we know is that it's thought to have awakened. So provided those speculations are true, that doesn't necessarily mean it has an Accomadator. For all we know, it doesn't need one in the conventional sense...

Also, the theory about the piano onboard the Ark got me thinking...there is some strangeness about the Ark itself. It's a pretty powerful artifact and one that has given the Order a major edge in the war. Plus, the piano (which the Earl refers to as the Ark's Heart) enabled Allen to stop the download and bring everyone that was presumably killed due to the Ark breaking apart back to life. Then there's the fact that the Ark is-despite most depictions of it as a big boat-a giant cube...kind of like how the Innocence was originally a cube.

what if the heart simply means the collective consciousness of the innocence? it refers to the whole and not a part. from chapter 202 its seems plausible if the heart is worried about whats happening to allen (14th may end up controlling a general level exorcist's innocence) anyone else think its possible?

so of course the heart if was the collective would be worried about a general level innocence falling into the hands of a deranged Noah

Here's my theory:

1. The owner of the Heart has created a duplicate of the Heart and set it loose in the world to avoid detection by both the Order and the Earl. (Well, literally. You know what I mean, right?) The reason s/he wants to do that is probably because the Earl is well, evil and there's probably something else about the inner workings of the Vatican and the owner of the Heart doesn't want to land the Heart into either side's hands.

2. The Black Order/Hevlaska doesn't know anything about the Heart except that once it's destroyed, all the other innocence fragments will disintegrate. So even if Hevlaska has come into contact with the Heart, she might not know it herself. If the Heart is so noticable, it would have already been taken by either side long ago. The Earl seems to know something else about the Heart. Remember that he said if the owner of the Heart knew about the true purpose of the akuma, it would not be good for him/his side? So the Heart probably has some other powers which the Black Order doesn't know of.

3. What if the Heart has the power to erase the memory of its conformer? So it's something like the Heart manipulating the memories of its conformer. Perhaps the owner is already in the Black Order, but s/he themselves don't know about it and thus can't reveal that they have the Heart.

4. The special case of Lenalee's innocence moving to protect her when she was fighting Eshi was because her feelings resonated with her innocence, and she even would sacrifice her own life using maximum invocation to kill Eshi in order to protect her friends so it wanted to protect her (the will of the innocence).

5. For Allen, I'm not too sure, but I'm thinking it's something along those lines too, using maximum invocation to save Suman. (I still think that Allen's innocence is more spectacular, mending the hole in his heart.) I can't figure out how Allen's innocence would not disappear when it was disintegrated to particles, though. So I'm going with the theory that Allen has the Heart. After all, the Heart can't be destroyed so easily, right? If not, the innocence-wielders would be at a great disadvantage. Besides, did you guys notice that Allen's innocence hand looks like the innocence was forcibly pushed into his hand? As in, before he upgraded to Crown Clown. The previous fourteenth might have found the Heart and forced it into his hands while he transferred his memories into Allen. Remember that in the current arc, Timothy's father had force-fed him the innocence and it actually conformed to him too? So I'm thinking it's something like that.

I actually agree with your theroies, especially the no. 3 and 5 theories.
I believe Allen has the Heart.
My reason for this is because Allen is the 14th Noah, which was shown in the manga. He have not "awakened" his Noah self probably due the Heart messing with Allen's memories. He might have already known about the true purpose of Akuma as well as he himself has the Heart. In addition because of this, his Noah self has yet to "awaken" from his slumber untill later on.

Before that, the anime ended where the Earl said he did not know is it coincidence or necessity that Allen survived from becoming an Akuma after turning Mana into Akuma. Since the Heart has the ability to erase memories, it might be possible that the Heart had erased Earl's memories as well. Not forgetting the 14th Noah is the key to this war as well. For example, the ark that the 14 had control of which was not known by Earl (the secret piano room). The 14 seems to be the man behind the scene, plays a very major role of revealing who have the Heart. As 14 himself, he would rather place the Heart close to him for convenience, so as to take revenge on Earl and becoming the next Millenium Earl (sorry, this is actually from the manga itself of the 14). Thus Allen should have the Heart innocence.

Lastly, remember at the very beginnig of the anime, episode 2 whereby his innocence was checked by Hevlaska. Hevlaska did say about him as the "Destroyer of Time". In my own opinion, this is already good enough to indicate that Allen's innocence is special, in this case it could be the Heart where his actions would drastically change the outcome of the war.

The Earl also said that the heart has already awakened, and that the person holding the heart is currently in hiding.

hmm in hiding.... kanda!!! hahhaha then again it would be really un expected if he had it.

Hmm....

I'm not exactly sure with the true purpose but all I think will be te case is that Allen is somehow very involved with this Heart and so is Mana??? Not to implicate that he is still alive somewhere in hiding but the thing is that Mana was an extremely suspicious character to begin with and he and Cross and te 14th were all involved with this cruel plan where they were gonna make use of an Innocence user near them and hence, resulting in Allen?

So I am now guessing that the Heart probably had some bad effects on its owner. Perhaps the 14th already had it already and then had some situation in which he had no choice but to die and he in turn decided to try passing on his very life to some other vessel ?? Like an Innocence user and in that case, Allen and this in turn resulted in what happened that time, where he died .

Ohhh....Maybe the curse part where Marian told Allen would one day kill the person he was in love with or something like that was initially the curse that 14th had which the 14th decided not to have and then he conspired this entire case to happen for the sake of a better future....

Nvm i'm just coughing all the stuff up that I can think of just to contribute some useful ideas if they help
