Question How do you think D.gray-man will end?

Do you think it's going to be the cliche ending? [Good guys pwn bad guys etc.]
Or maybe Allen will join the Noahs?
Maybe Allen will kill everyone he loves.
Or maybe everyone Allen loves will kill him?

    Put your ideas here!

I think Allen is going to lose control of himself but finally get enough common sense and kill himself before he hurts his friends... most likely b/c I HATE sickly happy endings. I always want the main character to die :3

I have no idea, but I like depressing endings... so Allen dying would be cool.

I don't know about Allen killing himself, to me it would kinda ruin the entire point of the story.
That's because it would leave so many loose ends and questions that can only really be answered when the main character is still alive (or rather, those things would only really matter if Allen was still alive).
Especially if the 14th hadn't emerged fully yet, who is the key to most of the answers.

Then again I don't really know how I WOULD like the manga to end.
I'm not actually picky about the ending, as long as the manga answers all the questions it raised during it's story. I hate not knowing things :P
Although it would be kinda cool if Allen struck up a friendship with Road and Tyki, but that's just the fangirl in me

Also, I think this 'third side of the war' might put things into perspective for both the Black Order and the Noah family so we'd not just have a Noahs-get-wiped-out-by-Exorcists and happily ever after ending.
But hopefully we won't have to worry about an ending any time soon, I enjoy the manga too much for that!

Hmm... I've actually thought about what the ending for D.Gray-Man might be like, and... All I can really say is that I hope it'll be a completely unique ending that's not happy. In fact, I'd actually like for it to be as sad as possible, with the world still being saved. So basically, I'm hoping that Allen will die. I'm also hoping that Kanda would die by the end of the series... It's getting too repetitive with people dying and coming back to life, and it seems like he'd be the easiest one to kill of the exorcists. Also, it would make a chapter that would create a huge reaction for anyone that reads it...

As for the actual end, I'm both hoping that the Noah and the Earl are killed, but not at the same time. They're such well-developed characters that it would be a shame to see them go- even if they are evil. However, I do hope that some of the noah die. My favorites to die would probably be Tyki and Fiddler. Tyki because of the same reasons as kanda, and Fiddler just because he bugs me.

All in all, I think that the worst possible ending would be like Wolf's Rain- where everyone dies and the world is reborn, but the evil still remains in the new world and everything starts all over again.

From my perspective, between a bittersweet ending and a downer. The world would be saved but Allen will die and cease to exist and at the same time, all the people who knew Allen would lose their memories of him. Essentially, Allen would die alone and no one will remember him. That is if fate would be that sadistic.

Well, that would be quite... Sad. Although I think I'd actually like that ending (I feel bad for saying this). It would bring a nice close to the series and, like I've stated earlier, I like it whenever a series ends with no hopes of a sequel. It would also allow the remaining exorcists to continue the rest of their lives as normal humans easier (if it ends up going that way). I think it would be interesting to see how they eventually would adjust into normal (boring) society, even though I'm hoping for the saddest ending possible... As long as it's not some complete cliche kind of ending with everyone happy; it would be quite irritating after how the rest of D.Gray-Man has gone.
