I don't see why Hoshino would make it a point to note Sheril adopted her and not say Tricia did as well.

Again, I think it might just be Road's ability creating the illusion of a normal human.

I think Sheryl said he married Tricia just to adopt Road? Although Road and Tricia don't have any common physical traits. Was it common for women to adopt a child in 19 century England? It's a fictional one but. Fff, the more I think the less I know. This manga...

From memory, Road and the Earl were the only survivors after Nea killed off the previous Noah's, hence Road is the oldest out of all of the (minus the Earl)...remember in the chapter that Wisely first appears in he comments to Road about her appearance being the same for 35 years. As for Sheryl, he likes cute things, he apparently wanted to adopt Road for himself because she was cute, and married his human wife to keep up an human appearance since he is a diplomat...Sheryl also adopts Wisely as his son - apparenly. Him and Tyki are blood brothers too, both are Portuguese...they look even similar. Anyway, there could be close relations with Tyki and Nea - I am in doubt as for Tyki's official age is 26...Nea went on a rampage and killed everyone 10 years before hand...it could be possible that they are brothers OR Tyki is a child of Mana's....

Also just saw the comment about 19th Century women adopting...the chances of that would have been very high especially considering Tricia is a "sickly" lady, chances are she is unwell enough to carry a child. Hence, Sheryl being the man of the household, would have taken responsibility with adopting Road, for a "good marriage" - that would have been the norm then...if it was all real, and Road was human, she would have been raised as a proper lady and married to a influential rich man who will carry out Sheryls name ... but now like I said before, Sheryl has adopted Wisely, and now has a son for his family.

Well I just looked at d. gray man wiki. not totally reliable I guess but still. Tyki and Sheril are brothers. From there it says Tyki should be 26 and he's younger than Sheril but there's no age on him. And Road may be at least 35 or more in age. But why she appears that way I don't think we know.
And I was told by someone Tyki have Neah's spirit of whatever in him. So I'm like "W-what?!' And Neah's only relative I know is Mana.
And Tricia is sicliy and Sheril uses her to boost his image and wanted a cute daughter(Road) and she's very mother-like. She apparntely interfered when Road hit Tyki at some point. Idk cause I'm not that far honestly... so yay.
And Tyki also seems to look similar to Neah and it does make me wonder about the two a lot.

Rhode can look like a little girl if she wants because she is the noah of "dreams".
Even though Sheril And Tyki look the same doesn't mean they're blood related. Honestly I hope they're not at least. I don't really like Sheril but Tyki is one of my favorite <3
Sheril married Tricia and adopted Rhode because, being a diplomat, it made his "human" appearance more believable. Also, Sheril is the noah of "desires", so I guess he just likes adopting cute people XP
Personally, I don't think any of the Noah are blood related, because Mana isn't a Noah but Nea is.

Though it wouldn't be impossible for two Noah to be related. Since noah memories just affects individuals (what determines which individual will harbor this memory is unknown as of now), it is possible for Sheryl and Tyki to be brothers. I don't exactly remember if their exact relation was discussed in the manga itself, but it seems like it could be likely. If they're not related by blood, we at least know that they're related by law. Tyki and Sheryl are officially brothers- whether this lies in genetics as well as documents though, I don't think is known. Sorry if I'm missing some information- it's been a long time since I read the older manga chapter D; *goes to reread..*

Also, I have a feeling that Noah bodies remain at the age they fully turned. The Earl is who knows how old, and his human form makes him look like he's in his thirties or forties. I don't think it matters what Noah type they are- as long as the memory is there, it seems like their physical appearance remains static.

Well, not sure about the appearance. Jasdevi were shown to be alive and older so, they obviously changed their appearance.

We've only been told about Road's ability to change her appearance and make herself look younger, which she might not need to if she were that young when she became a Noah. The Earl's looks, I have no idea. But considering his 'real' appearance is pretty human and not the plumpy demonic one we mostly see (or is it the other way around?)...

But we have no idea when Jasdevi (the Noah memory, at least) actually awoke. The Noah's human bodies could stop aging after the Noah memory itself takes over, which would make sense because they're "super humans", as Rhode put it.

Seeing as how the Millinium Earl was the first desciple and... Noah? Or was it Adam? I've heard his identity mentioned as both, but I forget which one is true. Anyway, seeing as he's one of the two, it looks like he was most likely originally a human- just like the other disciples. So, he probably just hides himself in his penguin outfit cuz he feels like it XD I must say, it was rather adorable :3 It's certainly strange to think that the Millinium Earl in the most recent chapters is the same one in the earliest chapters...
